Skips on private driveways or land in Skipton need no permit. Skips placed on a public road or pavement require a permit from North Yorkshire Council . Current permit cost is £35, added to the skip price only when a permit is needed. We complete and submit all the paperwork with the council on your behalf - you don't touch a form.
General household waste, garden waste, soil, rubble, wood, metal and most renovation waste are all fine. Prohibited items include fridges, freezers, TVs, batteries, paint tins, tyres, gas bottles, plasterboard, mattresses and asbestos.
